After over 33 years of practicing ophthalmology and serving the Carroll County community, Dr. Kessler is planning to retire at the end of 2023. He is currently still seeing patients and will continue performing cataract surgery.
Dr. Kessler has interviewed several outstanding candidates to replace him as Carroll Vision Center's cataract surgeon, and we are thrilled to announce that Briana Brunner, MD, will be joining the practice in October.
Dr. Brunner is a board-certified and highly skilled fellowship-trained cataract specialist. Dr. Kessler has personally met with her and feels she will fit in perfectly with the practice and continue the high quality of care that our patients have been accustomed to over the years.
To quote Dr. Kessler, “not only does she possess all the skills we need, she is friendly, kind, and compassionate. I am looking forward to working with her as she transitions into the practice.”
